First of all thanks for the mention!
As for progress... It started off with a bang, and I have most of
the first chapter (essentially what was the old system) rewritten,
and most of the second chapter written (on modifying pre-existing
ships).
A recent change in my gaming has slowed it down quite a bit.
I was DM'ing a group of players in the Realms using AD&D,
which means I only needed to spend a little time on NPC's and
plot development. But suddenly a bunch of my players went
AWOL (two went back to college), leaving me one original
player and a new guy.
So, I scrapped the AD&D game and am starting up a GURPS
game in my own fantasy world (which is very non-AD&Dish), which
means not only do I have to devote time to plot and characters,
but I also have to spend considerable time creating the world
around them.
So, this long winded explanation was just a way of saying...
not as soon as I would like. I planned on having it available the
end of this month, but that ain't gonna happen. With the vast
amount of new material, I need time to just sit down and write,
but such time is now a premium.
I can't give an actual date, so I am just going to say... hopefully
by the end of the year. Labor day is coming up... maybe I
should strap myself to a chair in front of my computer (along
with a case of highly caffinated soda, of course) and just flat
out write...
