Subject: Re: Jammers:Chapter 2, Turn 15 Summary
Comments, criticism, and flames always welcome and in fact are requested. I
crave feedback:)

Past turns and further information can be found at the Jammer's webpage:

IC:
"Periander, ah, said the entrance was hidden by illusion," Kain says
hurriedly. "Could you, ah, point it out to us Periander?" he asks. "Either
on the map, or just indicate where on the coastline we could find it."

Periander points to a spot on the cliff between two easily recognizable
rock outcroppings, "Right there, between those two rocks."

Holland walks over to Kain and casts invisibility upon him and then says,
"We will remain here. Get as much information as you possibly can, take
your time." Holland turns and says to the rest of the group, "In the mean
time, let's find a shltered spot, strike all of the sails and prepare the
STAR for inclement weather. If a storm arises we will have a little more
protection."

"Good idea," Kain's voice comes from where he was just standing. "Also
might.. ah.. want to hide the _Star_ somewhere, in case one of the Fellows'
ships comes or leaves. See that young tree growing by itself near the top
of that bluff,"
his voice continues, "when I get done I'll give that tree a good shaking so
you know where I am. Once you bring the _Star_ out of hiding, I'll fly
back up to meet you so we can make our plans."

Holland adds, "I have been thinking, and perhaps there is something to the
idea of placing one of the boarding party onto the pirate ship's helm and
flying both of the ships out of the cove. Once we get more information we
can make a plan."

Grigree grunts and says, "Cast spell on me too. Can glide down with Kain,
then we meet after ship landed."

"Yes, if we.. ah.. manage to find one of their ground entrances, that'd
make tonight's work much easier," Kain adds. "But, Grigree, once we're
inside the cove, if there isn't anyone around, we should do something to
help find each other. Move a rock, a box, anything really. We can plan
our scouting a little better there than here."

Grigree says, "We carry rope to see each other. When, hrrr, when we
looking, we put rope in backpack. Put piece on floor at meeting spot so we
know when other is there."

Holland casts another spell on grigree, and the hadozee vanishes from sight.

Kain's voice says, "We're going now, not sure how long it'll take so don't
get nervous if we're gone a while."

While Kain and Grigree reconnoiter, Deigatt stands at the stern and
watches the sky and sea for other intruders. He grips his great axe with
both of his dark fists.

Holland says, "Italapate, Nilaroo bring us down somewhere secure, away from
the cove opening."

Nilaroo grunts, "Hoom..." and looks meaningfully at the port lines where
Holland's station during this watch is. Holland laughs and moves to the
lines.

Ferric rests on deck with his longbow strung near at hand. He keeps an eye
out for other ships and activity on the ground as the ship flies about near
the pirate base.

Talus stands at the railing keeping a watch out for trouble, or Kain
returning which could mean trouble. The one of the half-elf's hands rests
on the dagger sheathed at this waist.

"I'll be in my room." Jamila says with a dreamy smile, "I'm going to catch
a bit of sleep, it's been a long watch. If I'm needed, or when plans are
being made for the attack, just wake me." With that said, she heads below
deck to her cabin for some rest.

Seguld looks up as he hears Jamila's words. "Well, I 'll join you!" He says
as he races to catch up to her. As Jamila looks back at him, he adds, "I
mean I will be resting below, but obviously in my own quarters." As she
turns back he snaps his fingers in annoyance.

"Helm, Up!" Nilaroo calls down the voice tube from the sailmaster's station.

Italapate sighs, drumming his fingers on the arms of the helm, then pulls
the eelship into a strong (though not hazardous) climb. Careful not to
inconvenience those on the deck, Pate pulls out of the climb in the high
atmosphere.

"Helm steady! All to Port!" Nilaroo calls in his deep, bass voice.
Holland and Billy begin working the ropes, warping the ship around on a
left hand turn as 'Pate steady's the climb and speed.

Using the sharp horizon of the small planetary body as cover, the STAR
reapproaches the cove opening low, over the water. In no hurry, 'Pate
avoids stressing the ship overly much with the low atmospheric flying by
staying at a nice, slow speed.

"Shout out when you guys see a likely hiding spot," 'Pate calls out.
"Remember, we need to see that sapling up yonder."

"Helm slow, Hard to starboard!" Nilaroo calls. As 'Pate and the sailhands
follow the orders the big ape-like humanoid points to a small cove nestled
on the inside of one of the smaller islands. "But no cover..." the big ape
growls, voicing the fact that the STAR will be plain as day to any vessel
flying over.

With a small splash the SILENT STAR splashes down. The tail quickly raised
to prevent damage. 'Pate powers the vessel in close to shore, but lacking
an anchor or a dock how the ship will remain in place is a question.
