I believe in the core SJ rules somewhere it says that the Hallucinatory
Terrain spell would make the ship and it's immediate surrounding look
like open wildspace, IIRC.

Also, I think the elves had something called a cloaking helm, it would
make the ship invisible for a time.

There might be a larger area invisibility spell somewhere but I'm not
sure.
