Hi there, >what do u mean by weird stuff? Well, when I tried to give every class a method of identifying magical items, I thought it would be cool if every class could only identify specific items. For instance the warrior alone can identify weapons and the wizards are the experts for books and magical wands obviously. To that end I took the categories of the magical items as shown in the Dungeon Master Guide, 2nd edition, on page 135 and assigned each to a different class. There is a categorie called "Miscellaneous Magic: The Weird Stuff" which contains items like "bowl of watery death", "cube of force", "deck of illusions" and such. I did not know how to deal with that categorie, so every class can identify it. I hope things are a bit more clear now. >16.
