Ok, since there are quite a few people who wish to see my old Gnomish 
repeatin ballista, I think I'll post it on the list. So here it is:

Liability:
	Each time the weapon is fired, roll 1d20 and consult the chart below:

1-10	Weapon operates normally.
11-18	Weapon jams - 1d4 rounds to free the machinery.
19-20	Weapon explodes, emitting 1d10 flying gear wheels inflicting 1d2 
	hp each, using the "Firing Into A Melee" rule (PHB), in a 20' radius.

Like I said, I made up this weapon back in 1993 and have since lost track of 
it until I recently rediscovered it a few weeks ago. So beware... :)
