Well, the last Unique ship challenge produced some interesting vessels, though not as many as I hoped for:) Now that summer's come and presumbably some of us (not me, alas:)) have more time on their hands I thought I'd reissue the challenge but with a self serving twist:) Let's see some unique spelljammer ships with crews whose highest level member is 7th level or below:) Not looking for new ship designs here, but instead fully set out ships a DM can simply insert into his campaigns. The ship doesn't even need to be modified, a std Tradesman or Wasp with an interesting crew could make a great entry:) Pirates, humnaoids, smugglers, merchents, adventurers, pilgrims, there are many possibilities!:) To repeat: No crew members above 7th level. let's also avoid "new" designs, though modified ships are fine:) With permission, the most interesting might appear in my "Jammers" PBEM as the "No-prize":) Hey, if you've got one you want to post outside these lines, then please do! I'm just trying to stimulate thought and no one would complain to see some new NPCs in their box. If everyone on the list tries to send in one ship we could have quite a collection going:) Webmasters: These contests are a great time to expand those NPC sections! If you needs some from the previous challenge, I can send you the post and author's web address, I saved most of them. For those interested, after some consideration, I've awarded the official "No-prize":) to Toby Mekalburg's _Royal Eagle_ for the last unique ship thread. I think his vessel was the most useful and well designed fo the broadest style of game. I've included his intro below, if it interests you maybe Toby will cc you a copy:) >The Royal Eagle > The Royal Eagle is a Hammership that is part of Cormyr's recent forays >into Realmspace. The current mission of the Royal Eagle is to patrol the >Tears of Selune from pirates and neogi threats. Cormyr is on very good >terms with the Imperial Navy, and the two forces assist one another and >coordinate patrol efforts.
