Re: The Spelljammer Comic Book Series... Should I Bother?

    Hmm, i was wondering the same about the comics myself.  I read a couple of
series, mainly because of storyline(heh, no marvel and usually no DC,
though...).   If they do have a good storyline, i'd look for them.
    As for the books, i'd have to say that, yes, they are worth reading.  Some
anyways.  Salvatore(dark elf trilogy, icewind dale trilogy) is one of my
favorate authors.  Yea yea, dont' worry, i'm not one of those mindless drones
that thinks "Drizzt is kewl, Drizzt is God, all hail Drizzt, the power
munchkin charater god!"   Its like any other book settings, some good, some
bad.  Salvatore, and Cunningham are really good.  as for the others, i'll let
you decide.  Try the Harper series, i'm sure others on the list can tell you
the one's they liked, if any.
