The Spelljammer Comic Book Series... Should I Bother?

Spacefarers,
    I am a die hard SJ, and have been since its release.  I feel
it is the single coolest RPG setting out there (despite its many
flaws).  Yet, for some unfathomable reason I never bought any
of the SJ comic books put out by DC.  I think I opened one up
once, but that is it.  I simply can't understand why this is, and
I kick myself over it constantly.
    But, it is possible to track these things down online or through
mail order, and lately I have been thinking very hard about
doing so.  Before I spend the time and cash, I thought I would
ask those who have readmt them... is it worth it?  Were they
any good, or disappointing?
    Should I bother?

    While we're at it, what about the other AD&D comic books,
more precisely the AD&D and Forgotten Realms books ? (I am
not interested in the DL books).  Were these any good?  I am
assuming the FR haters would think not, but anyone else?
I have had an urge to track these down as well.
