A New Version of the Spelljammer Construction System is On its Way

    After mentioning in a previous post that I was updating my 
Spelljammer Construction System I recieved close to a dozen e-mails
asking if I could send them a copy when I am done, and asking when 
this would be finished.  I also recieved a couple of inquiries over ICQ.
Instead of trying to reply to all of these, I thought I would post to the
list.
Sorry for the intrusion.

    When I am done with it I will make it available on my web page
and post an announcement here on the list.  The first version available
will be in Acrobat format, and if I get any interest there will also be a
text
format available later.
    As for when it will be finished... I really can't say.  This project is
now
huge, and has gone from a simple streamlining to a full rewrite, plus
a vast amount of new systems and information.  The completed version
will be 6 or so chapters, covering the basic design sysem, upgrading
pre-existing ships, repairs, crew, miscellaneous equipment, weapons,
supplies and new magic relating to ships. It will probably include a
compiled summary of most common ships as they would be under
this system.  It is basically turning into a big, one man net.book on 
spelljamming ships. 
    Not surprising then, it is going to take a while.  After writing it, I
then
have to format it, then proof it, and then general cleanup.  I expect it
will take _at least_ 2 months, probably 3.

    If you like the system and have any sort fo feedback, I recommend
sending it early!  Although I have never recieved much feedback from
people, I see references to my system here fairly often, as well as 
through private e-mail, so I know your out there!  : )  Let your opinion be
heard.
