I use the CPHB psionics. Do they need to be rebalanced? Sure (my copy has pencil marks all over it). I also don't like PO. Not because it makes PSI weak, but because I just don't wanna shell out MORE money AND revamp my games/game world with what essencially boils down to third edition rules. I've heard good things and bad things about it, but I'll stick to the flawed rules I know (because I know the loopholes).
