        Hey! Who asked you! ;-)
I, for one, like psionics and psionicists. I consider that class as much
official as the warrior class. But it should be relegated to a sub-class of
the wizard.
Do I play psionicists? Not yet. Do I allow psionics in my games? Yes.
Have I ever ran a game with psionics? Not yet. I played a guy with psionics
1 time and it upset the game a bit. But that was in 1st ed. and I was a new
player and had a new DM. I think that if you allow an NPC to have them, then
players should too. I also think that psionicists, as written in the CPHB is
very powerful. But I will probably never buy any PO stuff.
The idea of psionics is very good. But their powers should be a
mental version of priest and wizard spells. Now if only one of you Einsteins
out there would come up with a perfect way to run them. :-p
