Hello everyone,

To me, such fast technological growth seems like a very modern
concept. I just don't think that very many advances would be made in
a human lifetime in the SJ universe. Maybe one new helm type would be
created, or several related types based on a new technology, but not
this endless stream of inventions. That is, unless these weren't
*new* inventions, just tech from several spheres away that's taken
close to a century to finally become "accepted" locally.

Alas, it all comes down to gaming styles... :)
