Never understood why under the Armada description it says that flitters are launched enmass against enemy ships. Unless their orcish, the ship outruns them. The Armada is left with a choice: pick up flitters and let enemy get away or leave them behind and risk loosing them in the dangers of space. Overall, their facilities are smaller and less important than that of the elves. One big reason I would think the elves won the UWII is because they're fighting a defensive war on their home turf. Their supply lines are very short. The scro probably had to waste lots of time and effort securing supply lines and alternate sources of war material. The elves didn't need to do this.
