Greetings all,

In our last episode, Wilson, M.D. said:
>IIRC the phlogiston stay a few hundred feet away from the shell;

	Several people have mentioned something like this, but I don't
recall seeing it anywhere. Does anybody out there have a reference
as to where it states that the flow stays away from a sphere? The reason
I ask is that IMU, the flow actually *thickens* for several million
miles near the sphere wall, and I was wondering if this is completely
wrong. (Yes, yes, I know that it's my world, and I could do whatever
I want.  I'm looking for a different answer... (: )
