Even spells that normally do not require a attack roll must make one
if
cast through this device.

Spells cast through this device can only affect one target regardless
of the number of targets normally affected.

This device can only be used once a round.

I also there may be a version that doubles the normal damage from a
spell if it is used against a non-animate target it would cost
approximately three times as much and inflict double the SR loss.

The standard version of this device is very rare and the enhanced
version is extremely rare.
