It's an interesting idea; tell us > (me) me. The spellport is exactly that. Its a windows in the hull of the ship. This window draws upon the energies of an active spelljamming helm in much the same way as an Accelerator. I'm still debating which way to treat the range enhancement. I could say there are three types: +1, +2, and +3; and that each "plus" increases the range of the spell being cast through it by 1 Hex.
