I'd say the time is pretty much fixed, with possibly a small (10% or so)
variation. However, since the sphere you arrive at is random (unless you
have Phlogiston Navigation), you could spend anywhere up to 100 days anyway.

IIRC (and I'm almost positive I do), it's 120 days. Plenty of time for the
voyage, and you can always cast Wind Wall spells anyway. Actually, for a
ship, air isn't much of a problem. Food, on the other hand...
