I highly doubt the goblinoids care enough about their "wives" and
"children" to mourn their passing. Especially considering there is little
or no love exhibited(in official material) between goblinod "families". I
gather female goblinoids are there to produce more goblinoids for war
against the hated elves.

And besides, not much needs to be done for the goblinoids to hate elves.
Hell, an elf would just have to say 'Hello' and he would be attacked.
