Actually, elves are capable of casting High Magic, a form of 10-th level
spell casting, which is fully covered in the Elves of Evermeet accessory.

Some of these spells are fairly awesome, as are the elven artifacts and
magical items / spells described within.  Well worth the look for anyone
interested in Elves.
