Also, humans have the ability to advance unlitedly in any class > in there short lifespan, where elves are restricted. Not to critize anyone, but I think I'll add my opinion. The problem I have with this situation is the so-called "human supremecy." Humans are "so good that everyone else is so much cannon fodder" mentality is something I can do without. Nor do I like a world of "elves rule all." I personally like a world with some balance between the races; elves live here, dwarves there, humans here; other than a few wars, they leave each other alone. Hell, in a world of magic, I would think that people would have developed spells to reduce their need for wood, thus limiting lumbering to get building material (how much harder is it to create a "continual heat" spell than a "continual light"????). Another thing to think about is how large is the barbarion area is in the world in question? The reason I ask is because many barbarions in old Germany considered trees sacred objects and would even kill anyone who needlessly chopped them down. In my opinion, the forests should be heavily defended, not being clear cut like a rainforest in Brazil. (like almost every former elvish forest in the Realms). Night Druid
