In a message dated 97-09-01 03:17:16 EDT, you write:

<< Gee. Thanks for your verbose and informative response. >>

No problem.

<<I have the CM rules, but I was wondering how others approached the
induction of this new unique element. >>

I approached it like I approach every new TSR product: with open arms, and
with hope that it doesn't suck. I personally LOVE chronomancy, and I ran many
chronomancers before the CM rules supplement was created. In fact I created
about 50 original chronomancy spells, as well as some unique chronomancing
rules, about a year before it hit the shelves. Like psionics, I was pleased
new rules for the chronomancer, but I didn't and still do not like how
chronomancers would not be allowed to go back in time an alter events. In my
opinion altering the past on a prime doesn't effect that prime, but creates a
parallel dimension that is exactly the same except for the alterations made
by the chronomacer. This way a chronomancer "thinks" he or she has changed
the past, when in reality they just created a sub-universe to hold the
effects they created. Thus if they decide to go back and change the events,
the sub-universe isn't destroyed, the chronomancer just ends up in his
original universe.

Is that informative enough for you? :)
