not the person to buy a ship from if you smart he is by all definition a
thief.  A stereo typical Used Cars sales who could sell ice to an Dohwar
and always same it has something that it does not. only he is 10 times
worse than that. I use him to keep P.C.s in check and give them a place to
salvage parts from ship they may find.  NO questions asked.  My only advice
is if you can buy new buy it.  Buying from a Gnome would be a little
greater risk for breakdown than from him. If he could he would sell you a
helm with a spell cast of a scroll with a limited time for use.
