I never really thought about the *other* > enemies of the EIN... Ooo, I just got an idea. What if the arcane, in > their infinite mercantile wisdom, were the ones who uplifted the goblins! > (As the ferengi say, "War is good for profits.") > > -Static > The Arcane were based on the Ferengi and do sell to both sides, with one exemption I believe the Arcane may be more willing to destroy more potential customers (clusterspace). Although I do agree with your theory on the arcane that they supplied the Goblin-kin to curb the elves unchecked expansion. Considering they are unwilling to deal with the Neogi the goblins did make sense playing on both sides natural(used loosely) hatred for each other. On another note with regard to helms I believe the Neogi not the Arcane created the LifeJammer considering that the "good races" don't and or Won't use it. How does ever think on this, I know we have been debating the creation of new helms. Also in my world I have created a Used ship sales company that also deals in salvaged helms and sell that based on how many they have in stock, and the means a perspective buyer can pay. And discount for purchasing more. This is run on a buyer beware concept after all they are used and you could get a lemon. Jeremy G.
