The K'r'r'r and there smaller unity ships are only described n the
Legend of Spelljammer boxed set. I have increased their chance to level
(exceptional ones are higher than third level) as well as making them
dimensionalist or shadow mages to mor mimick the Shadows (they already
have the physicality). Their connection to the Juna was completely made
up by me, but it could have been hinted at by the fact that their
tri-catamaraned ships indicate they were never dirtkickers. In my
history, the gods created the spheres in a huge joint effort (old gods,
generations before odin and zeus). This upset the Juna who were
phlogiston lifeforms as powerful as those gods. When the gods populated
the planets, the Juna created the K'r'r'r to control the newly formed
wildspace. Most everyone was cool with this except Celestian who wanted
his people to travel, to leave their dustball homes and explore. His
chosen (a new race that is part Shi'ar, part Minbari, and part elf)
joined forces with the Arcane and drove the K'r'r'r from this entire
region of the Phlogiston. I've taken the Under the Dark Fist Module and
replaced the werewolves with an insect coalition, the K'r'r'r assembly
(K'r'r'r, Thri-Kreen, xixchil, brain spiders, chitines, cildabrin...
whatever I could dig up from the monstrous compendium>...)
