Do you have the Zebulon's Guide supplement? The races in there can
also be adapted for SJ. If memory serves, the Osakar would add an
interesting touch. The race is essentially a clone species, so to
distinguish themselves they use clothing, religions, languages, and exotic
skills, not becuase they need or use the skills, but because they want to
have one skill that no other member of their race has. In an SJ setting,
this could include using obscure character kits, or unique character classes.
I also remember a warrior race, the Humma, that was kangaroo-like.
If you want your SJ game to have a race of smelly, obnoxious "space orks,"
the humma fit the bill. Incidently, the Scro aren't "space orks," but more
of a "noble enemy," at least in my opinion. The humma would be the sloppy,
carousing trouble makers, who tend to smash and defile everything they pass,
all in the name of good fun.
Sort of like some of the frat boys in knew in college...
