Well, actually I had felt that they were less of a "what is good for the
planet" than "what WE feel is good for the planet". I actually was torn
between making the group Neutral or Lawful Neutral, but I felt that since
they had to act sometimes in less than lawful manner (heck, most of the time
they act in a less than lawful manner). Now that I have reread the Alignment
section in the Ninja handbook, I realize that the "alignment" of the
organization is not related to how it acts to others, but rather it is how it
acts within its own structure. Thus, I feel the MiBs would more likely be a
Lawful Neutral group as they are highly ordered and structured, but neither
are they good or evil within their own structure. This alignement would allow
members to be of ANY alignement (pg. 94 Ninja's Handbook). This works, as
they would bemore than willing to use ANY resource necessary to achieve their
goals; if the member becomes a problem due to his or her own alignment, then
they are "eliminated" in typical MiB fashion... they wake up somewhere with
no memory of the last sevemonths, and certainly no memory of the MiBs. Or, if
they were useful to the MiBs otherwise, they might "wake up" in a house in a
alrge city with a moderate amount of wealth "in the bank". Or if they were
trouble, they would "wake up" in a slave pit on a moon in a far-away Crystal
Sphere...
