Their innate ulimited wall of ice ability (I think - I'm not sure because I don't have my monster manuals with me) is usually used to drop walls of ice on top of people. I'm told it just creates another ice storm. Only good if you don't have the Ice storm spell. Now a wall of iron would be much better. Oh, I started playing a spelljammer game today and discovered that the ship we are on (a galleon, much to my characters annoyance - he prefers wasps: much more manueverable) is piloted by a lich. Or actually an arch-lich. It is just annoying that she won't do anything other than pilot the ship. Its like, she would have been great to teach my character's father a lesson in politeness (he is a very bad pirate and my character hates him very much), but they keep on saying - I'm sorry, if she leaves the ship everybody will get upset and lynch her. Hey - she's a lich - she can handle a few thousand raving peasants. (though they tell me she's lawful good). Oh, and what do people have to say about throwing people overboard? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Apollo ordained my fate ... but the hand that struck my eyes were mine alone."
