Well given the differences in the sphere and the willingness to participate
in ragnarock by the gods this sphere is probably far distant from the known
spheres. Perhaps the attitudes of non-direct interference in mortal affairs
among the divine originated from what happened in Birthright when Gods died
in a battle begun by mortals. It seems to me that Birthright is an ancient
world and a harsh one. Of the Ancient Races only one branch of elf and one
branch of Dragon survive yet both are arguably among the most powerful of
their kind.
Normal Magic is weak here only elven blood or one who was descended from
the survivors of the final battle or somehow is granted the essence of such
a one can practice magic with any real power. Divine abilities though
not common appear with enough frequency to make any encounter unpredicatable
even with non-humans.
The mortals here are all divided politically their ancient empires
crumbling with the various barons etc acting with the authority of kings in
their own demesne. The Elves here are closer to ancestral stock than any
other known erace of elf retaining their ancient immortality.
This sphere is ancient and far distant and may be among the first the gods
decided to play with. In my campaign I do not seal them off so Birthright
can be visited; but mortals from Birthright who have major abilities and/or
a high Blood Strength cannot leave the sphere except through plane hopping
just as the gods must do. I belive also that a mortal such as this will
retain all his blood powers if he does somehow get to another sphere because
he IS divine and not dependant on the local Powers. Such a mortal may run
into problems though since on a wide define he is in effect an avatar and
local Powers will probably resent his presence.
