  Ah, the Prince may know of them and their aims, but isn't Lord Cartan a
confidante and enforcer for the Prince himself, besides being a XP sleeper
agent of course (Rock of Bral accy.)?  That seems pretty hidden.
  Sure the elves wouldn't want the XP to muscle in on their scene.  But out
of the all the human (and others) allies' ships mustering out for the elves,
which ones are and aren't XP moles?  Surely they're not flying such colors
openly, that'd be quite unwise.  XP is highly selective as well, see Cartan's
stats, (note: spend points mainly on "hero" levels with associate "deep
cover" skills), but with many underlings unwittingly serving them.
  BTW, a big war might be the thing Cartan needs to subvert the court and
usurp the Prince's throne.  The fox guarding the henhouse while the chicken
counsels with elves as how best to defend Bralspace.
