Au contraire, Kara-tur boxed set includes counterparts to (Song dynasty?)
China and quasi-Formosa, Philippines/Malay Island, Imperial and feuding
warlord Japan, Korea, Golden Triangle-type areas, Eastern Siberian wilds,
Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, almost all the corollaries except South Asia. Many
claim it sketchy, but it's the best groundling setting IMHO if you include
the half-dozen or so modules. And the Kara-tur Trailmap includes a hokey
26-letter font +, better yet, an organizational chart of Shou Lung's
bureaucracy.
BTW, the only openly Arcane-run outpost is somewhere atop a glacial bowl in
the Wu Pi Te Shao (Himalayas) mountains southwest of Tabot, chartered
supposedly-long ago by the Son of Heaven himself (WCC, Book 1). Dirtkickers
be ready for yetis if they try to make the climb.
