Lets get ready to ruuuuummmmmbbbbblllleeee!!!!" ;) Allies for the scro would be the ogres, flinds, goblins, kobolds, human scum, and possibly Tenth Pit. Elven allies would be Sindiath Line, allied human kingdoms, a few dwarven citadels, Smith's Coster, mercenaries backed by the Company of the Chalice. And possibly the Shou. Did I leave anybody out? One of the great curses(and also a great blessing) is the openess of the SJ setting. There are thousands of worlds out there allowing a great freedom for the DM. TSR cannot possibly detail all of these worlds so it is up to the DM to do so. We have no real definitive list of allied powers for the combatants, or a general idea of troop and ship strength or supply capability. For the IEN, I'd suggest taking a look at the fleet strengths given in the War Captains Companion and double or triple them to mirror what the fleet strength would be in that sphere during a war. Then double or triple those numbers for the scro and allies. I'd say the war would be fought between several thousand vessels on either side. Comments?
