I think 1 pt of ships rating = 17 miles/hour. I'll have to check up the
actual value to be sure, but I think that is what it is.

There is an example in one of the Spelljammer rule books about how to
handle battle between crews. I'll havn't got it with me at the moment,
but if you need the infomation I can go and look it up.
