	Was it ever mentioned on whether the connection is "direct"?  What
if one of the Vodoni recently conquered spheres led to one of the good
guy's spheres?  Maybe even one we had contact with.

	This would be cool.  And speaking of rivers, could the good guys
set up a "line" along the river to stop the Vodoni?  The Vodoni may not
be expecting a flow battle, and we could use the plogiston's explosive
nature to our advantage.  The gnomes *have* come up with several ways of
igniting the ether at a distance... (:

	What if there are other "plogiston gods" (those that exist *outside*
the cyrstal sphere) that we don't know about yet?

	Why would the need gods?  They might have a cool psychology:
very independent, self-reliant, possibly limited (or no) creation myths,
probably no technology (no fire).
