  Umm... you forgot the fact that the Spelljammer would attempt remove
any captain that would continually destroy (like what happened to Romar,
the Fool, before he became the master lich). Sure, the Spelljammer would
put up with the destruction for a while (and telling the captain it's
not a good thing to do), but after a while the shivaks would boot the
captain and lock him in the Dark Tower. Only an evil captain would use
the Spelljammer as a doomsday weapon. More details on this in the
