Hello all,

I've also been trying to figure out if it's even feasible in a
sci-fi context. My current thoughts are that large-scale surface bombing
(possibly nuclear, depending on if you need it) is the way to deal with
planets. In SJ that pretty much means Witchlight Maruaders.

Wouldn't the Vodoni face the same problems with space superiority
that the three spheres would have? They'd be far from home, travelling
far apart at spelljamming speeds, going up against a fresh force. As soon
as the Vodoni forces started becoming a "real" threat, I think the various
nations *might* unite, and beat the crap out of 'em. Just hope they
figure it out soon enough.

The elves have forces in more than just three spheres. They have
the largest single navy, and could probably put up one hell of a fight
against the Vodoni. The elves would have the homeground advantage, would
be fresh, would have "quick" access to reinforcements, and are probably
fast/manueverable enough to destroy Vodoni ships at a distance. Especially
if Michael's weapon mods are used... (:
Another idea, if we'ere fighting on the homefront, is to use
captured Vodoni ships. The Alliance could probably "draft" some new
crews for them, whereas the Vodoni would have no easy access to recruits.
The ships could then be used for infiltration, and to setup ambushes.
