Greetings,
In our last episode, Michael Sandy said:

Were there not enough smileys in my posts? (:

It's for this reason that I think Under the Dark Fist is a
"silly" adventure. I don't mean silly as in funny, but as in
"unrealistic". The reason that "The Alliance" won't work is the same
reason that makes something so large scale as the Vodoni Empire
unfeazable. If we assume that a single power could "unite" 13 spheres,
then why can't somebody come along and "unite" three?
I liked the adventure, but if I ever use it the scope will be
much smaller.

Right. But I also think that a single power, such as the elves,
could send in a commando squad -- or a party of PCs -- and "change the
tides of battle". The Alliance would never win a war, so they need to
be sneaky, and sneakiness doesn't *need* an alliance... Hope that made
sense... (:

Herdspace rules. Imagine unifying *that* piece of relastate. (:

ps. And speaking of the Alliance's inability to fight a long term war
in Vodonispace, what about the Vodoni Empire's ability to bring the
war to us? Do the three spheres even have anything to fear?
