That could work,  but what if the numbers don't exactly divide?  It does
give the ship with a faster SR an advantage,  but then,  speed _should_ be
an advantage.  How much is certainly a question.  It hasn't seemed to
overly affect things so far,  but I haven't had much of a chance to play
test it.

Well,  I run a pretty low level game,  most helmsman (NPCs especially) are
level 2-5,  only one or 2 SR,  even with a major helm.  Under the old
system they are like : Move a hex,  fire,  next round-kinda boring and no
opportunity for the players to get creative.  This way they get a sense
they're ship is flying,  and battles cover more board space:)  Yes,  I do
define the Hex as 500/3 yards since the hex is just an abstract indication
of the speed  the system shouldn't suffer from any change like this (well,
it does make ships a bit more maneuverable)
