(I personally did the ITV series 'Sharpe' into a Forgotten Realms setting, as well as doing the SJ module 'Under the Dark Fist' in a Star Trekky way, setting-wise rather than tech-wise.) Also, the game is more adaptable than many. My own setting that I devised recently, Corporate Dragon, is a modern-tech AD&D variant. It almost all stays the same. And as for magic being un-Trekky, that's up to you to choose your level of isomorphism. We thought, what of federation-style elves. This gave us ranks like Ship's Mage, etc. (the War Captain's Companion helped here), and our best NPC is an ambassador after the order of Spock and Sarek. Please send me your thoughts on this (and order Corporate Dragon if you want 0:-)) Nilmar the Brown, Captain of the good ship 'Hammer of Justice'. ------------------------------ 0:-) Halo/Alex Alex.roberts@???.??.uk
