That's where the Dicryshal comes in ("cryshal" being the elven word
for "crystal," as in "Crystal Shell")  Not only does it maintain the
link to the Planes (by creating "Microspheres," miniature crystal
shells) but also reshapes the shadow to pure energy, which is
directed into motive force.

(actually, I didn't know about the plane of shadow thing, but I do
love being able to BS on the fly!!!)  ;P
