<sigh!> tsk, tsk, tsk...Have you no ambition? Think BIG!!! A Federation, even in the AD&D universe, would be significantly advanced enough to make REALLY BIG ships, hold HUGE tracts of space, wild and other, and have some REALLY POWERFULL enemies. (RANT TIME!) People say the AD&D system isn't very flexible outside of a fantasy setting, I disagree. Phasers and Magic wands are interchangable, so is an impulse engine and a spelljamming helm. (end rant) There is even a Borg like race introduced in Planescape Campaign Setting called the Parai. Adapt 'em, give them a queen, and you have the Borg all over again, only using magic. Well that's my two cents. Chris ____ Christopher J. McFarland President and Founder of the Sailor Moon Society International
