Recently a topic on Spelljammer, but of course an issue of interest to the Dark Sun list, so I am crossposting. TSR's now functional Web site says the following about commenting on the closing of Dark Sun: -----begin quote, copyright owned by TSR--- There are no Dark Sun products listed for 1997 because no Dark Sun products are going to be released on paper for DS. I do not know the status of the supposed online material that was planned for it (see the Dragon Annual #1 ... that announcement was the first I had heard of it). Ranting at TSR online is not going to change this situation. Flaming TSR or me (Sean Reynolds) is not going to change this situation. If anything, I had nothing to do with this decision. What you can do is write a polite and coherent snail mail letter to: Lorraine Williams TSR, Inc. 201 Sheridan Springs Rd. Lake Geneva, WI 53147 Explain in your letter that you are a Dark Sun fan, that you spend X dollars a month on gaming materials, and that you would like to see DS products in print again. TSR never "cancels" a game line, they only close it. TSR always has the option to reopen it again, provided that there is enough interest in the line to support itself financially. If you have questions on other topics, send email to TSRinc@???.com -----------end quote and copyright-------
