I saw a RPG mapping program from NBOS software(www.nbos.com). It looks
pretty easy to use, and aside from making maps(in color!!) they had a sample
of a starship floorplan, with grid lines and everything. IMHO, that program
appears to be the best way to draw floorplans for Spelljammer, and may be
easier to use than CC. The price is $49.95(??) U.S., which includes the
mapping program, a campaign databse program, and character sketcher. The
latter only draws facial portraits, which IMHO, look decent. Not Elmore but
decent. You can get the mapping program by itself from Hyperbooks On-line
for $29.95. I think the URL is (www.hyberbooks.com), but if it's not, try
finding a thread on rec.games.frp.dnd in which Terry Austin has replied in
and check his sig; he's the owner. Of course, some of you may not like
him.... ;)

I haven't bought it myself yet, but when my bank account recovers from
Christmas, I plan to. I'll let everyone know how it is.

It's a Windows program, and I'm not sure if there's a Mac version.
