	I'm not sure what it stands for, but it's a standard which was
developed for downloading binary stuff off of usenet.  If you do an
Web search for it, you'll find DOS and Mac and almost anything you want
versions.  Come to think of, I have source (in BASIC) somewhere on my
machine... (:
