[Snip Roger's Ogre discussion]

I've been planning on using the 2nd war as a backdrop to the
campaign. It would take place several months (or years) after the first
initial conflicts where the elves beat the scro back, but only marginally.
Unlike Roger Moore, I don't think there will be any major ogre action in
space, for precisely the reasons he stated: ogres are choatic. I don't
even understand how ogres can build ships. Maybe space ogres are neutral
evil (for those that use alignment), which would explain them cooperating
on such a grand scale.

I'm planning on the war being fought all over the known (and as
yet unknown) spheres. The scro are a huge force, with lots of allies.
The elves are a much samller force, plagued by internal conflict. I
havn't decided yet on the role PC's will play.

Here are some other ideas I've been turning around in my head:
What if the ogres, in all their organization, decide that *they*
should control space, not the scro? Or what if space ogres are as stupid
as their terrestrial cousins, and it's the *goblins* (or kobolds) who
are the brains behind the "Mighty Ogre Army." What if it's the arcane?
