PSA-2: (fwd) The AD&D lists have moved!

Hi all,

The AD&D lists which were at Leicester became so popular at the old site, that
they literally swamped the mailhubs with traffic. They started using 80% of the
mailhub capacity, and so I was asked to find somewhere else to house them.

This being the case, that new home had to be found. That has been done, and the
new home for the Leicester AD&D lists is on majordomo software at MPGN.

The following lists have been moved already, complete with old subscribers:

  REALMS
  PLANESCAPE
  RAVENLOFT
  DARK-SUN
  DRAGONLANCE

and this list is moving (+ subscribers) by the end of this week:

  SPELLJAMMER

In addition, for all those who asked, this list has just been created:

  BIRTHRIGHT

In order to subscribe to any of these, follow the guidelines below, replacing
the word 'birthright' for the list of your choice.

More information on the majordomo software commands can be found by sending a
'help' command to 'majordomo@????.com'.

Your subscription
=================

There are two lists provided, A normal version and a digest version).
They are:

	birthright@????.com

and

	birthright-digest@????.com

To switch to a digest from a normal distribution (or vice versa),
simply subscribe to the new list and unsubscribe from the old list by
sending mail to majordomo@????.com.  For example, suppose you are
subscribed to birthright@????.com and want to switch to a digest, you
would send a mail message to majordomo@????.com with the following in
the body:

	subscribe birthright-digest
	unsubscribe birthright

FTP Archives
============

Archives of the digests will be made available on the MPG-Net Gaming
Archive in the directory

	/Gaming/ADND/Worlds/Birthright/MailingListArchive.

Simply ftp to ftp.MPGN.COM, log on as 'ftp' or 'anonymous', give your
e-mail address as the password and start downloading.  Alternately,
you can retrieve message digests by sending commands in an e-mail
message to majordomo@????.com.  For help in this process, send a
mail message with 'help' as the body to majordomo@????.com.

Problems
========

If you have difficulties with the FTP archive, please send mail to
ftp-maint@????.com and the maintainers will be happy to help.  Also,
if you are having difficulties with the Birthright mailing
lists, you can send mail to birthright-request@????.com.
