They were shorter than the commander?  I'll have to check my tape, but I do
believe they were a bit larger...that's why their tunnels were large enough
for him to go down...all their tunnels, even to the 'unauthorized' balcony.
And yeah, I suppose that they might be a neogi in body armor, but when I
think of neogi I think squishy, not black spiked chitin...
