I know the feeling. I once played two female Drow, a cleric of Corellon
Larethion, and a fighter/thief, but now...i can't play a male, cause
he'll be seen as 'another Drizzt'...and as everyone now seems to think,
anyone trying to play Drizzt is a munchkin and totally sad to boot. Its
a shame that the central part of Drizzt...his morals and good
heart...are lost to people wanting to emulate his killing abilites or
his reticence...

Well, if you want to try that hard for comparisons, someone will
*always* know something obscure to compare you with. Just play what you
like, and be different..Storm doesn't use a weapon, and wasn't the first
person to have a mohican! Now, if you were playing a female drow air
elementalist wizard, I'd worry :)
