Keep in mind that lightning has almost no effect. That includes the Wand's of Lightning you can buy on Toril. I was lucky enough to find a Wand of Fire on a ship. That helped clear off the undead. >Incidently, I've never made it to the very end. I was going to give up because I didn't know how to use the map. Played for a week, got my character (a mage) up to 11th level, and was about to call it quits when I discovered that maps get converted to point of interest in the nav map. After that little discovery, I finished the game in less than four hours. By this time though, my party was pretty well decked out, so combat became fairly easy. -Static ps.
