Greetings from Wildspace ...
I, too, only recently joined this listserv. so please bear
with me if I ask a question that everybody knows the answer to.
Recently my SJ group started spelljamming themselves around
instead of relying on vessels that is captained by someone
they hired to. An interresting question that they asked me,
and one I couldn't truthfully answer at that time, was:
"How much cargo space should we allocate to food and water
as we only have, say, 6 tons of it anyway." They will be using
the flogiston in this particular adventure, so stocking up on
food and water along the way might constitute a problem.
The crew consists of approxamitely 25 members, and as stocking
up on 12 months' food is unrealistic, as the food would spoil
before that time elapses, the question remains. How much food
would they need ( in cargo space and in goldpieces ) per person.
What if they happen to have a large or giant-sized group member ?
Thank you in advance.
Al.
PS: What kinds of taxes could a space-base like Bral ask from a
spelljamming vessel. What would these taxes amount to ?
