A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Paul Westermeyer was heard to say: >Has anyone done any work on why most of the humans on the "standard" worlds >all speak the same language? I know its convenient, but it doesn't offer >much in the way of realism. If anyone has though out a reason, please, >let me know!:) Yeah, it's the Universal Translator........ Oops, sorry, wrong 'men in space' universe. :-) Seiously though, why let it bother you ? It's the same as to why (using FR for a moment), the people in Faerun speak the same language as Zakhara and Maztica etc. Besides, we're talking flying ships in space here. Realism is non existent :-) Steve. -- | | | | | | | Stephen Wales | EMail: stephenw@??????.com | | | | | | | Regional Support Co-ordinator | |M|I|N|C|O|M | Denver, CO, USA | No Employer Opinion Included
